Privacy Policy

Last updated 25 August 2026

This policy explains what personal data this website collects, why we collect it, who else handles it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers lumennexus.co.uk only.

Who we are

Lumen Nexus is an AI engineering studio registered in England & Wales, based in Milton Keynes. For data protection purposes we are the data controller for information collected through this site.

Registered company number: 16606608. Correspondence address: Unit 9 The Farthing Enterprise Centre, 39 Farthing Grove, Netherfield, Milton Keynes, England. MK6 4JH.

You can reach us about anything in this policy at info@lumennexus.co.uk.

What we collect, and why

We collect what you type into one of the two forms on this site, plus a small amount of technical data needed to stop abuse. We also use Google Analytics to measure how the site is used — but only if you accept analytics cookies on the banner. If you decline, no analytics data is collected. There is no advertising tracking on this site.

Enquiries are delivered to us by email. They are not stored in our database — the form sends the message and nothing is written to a table. You also receive an automatic acknowledgement email at the address you gave.

Reviews are stored in our database and are not published automatically. Every review is read and approved by us before it appears on the site. Anything you submit here is intended for publication, so please do not include information you would not want shown publicly.

Technical data

When you submit either form we briefly record your IP address so we can limit how many submissions come from one source. This is what stops the forms being used to send spam or to flood our inbox. The record holds only your IP address and a counter, and it expires automatically after one hour. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests — keeping the site and our email working.

Who else handles your data

We use a small number of service providers. They process data on our instructions and for no other purpose.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries: held in our email account for as long as we need to deal with your enquiry, then deleted.
  • Published reviews: kept while they remain on the site. Ask us and we will remove yours.
  • Reviews not approved: deleted once we have reviewed them.
  • Rate-limit records: expire automatically after one hour.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
  • correct anything that is wrong;
  • delete it;
  • restrict or object to how we use it;
  • provide it in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent, where consent is the basis — for example, to take your review down.

Email info@lumennexus.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. See the Cookie Policy for the full detail, including the third parties that may set their own.
